Bill McKibben

Bill is a leading climate change writer and activist. His 1989 book, “The End of Nature” was ground-breaking (now in 24 languages). Many other books followed and his latest is Falter: Has the Human Game Begun to Play Itself Out? (Henry Holt and Co., 2019). Bill is a Schumann Distinguished Scholar at Middlebury College and he has won many awards, including the Sierra Club’s John Muir award, the Gandhi award and, together with the organisation he co-founded,, the Right Livelihood award. is a planet-wide, grassroots climate change movement, and has organised many thousands of rallies globally.
