Professor Frans de Waal

Professor Frans BM de Waal was a Dutch-American biologist and primatologist, who worked most of his life at Emory University, in Atlanta. He was known for his popular books on chimpanzees and bonobos and his research into the evolutionary origins of empathy and cooperation.
