Professor Marion Nestle

Marion Nestle is the Paulette Goddard Professor of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health at New York University. Her research examines scientific and societal influences on food choice, obesity, and food safety, particularly the role of food marketing.  She is the author of six prize-winning books, among them Food Politics: How the Food Industry Influences Nutrition and Health; What to Eat; Why Calories Count: From Science to Politics; and most recently Soda Politics: Taking on Big Soda (and Winning). She blogs almost daily at www.foodpolitics.com, and tweets at @marionnestle.
