Community events

Have you ever considered taking part in a summer fete or sponsored event? We’ll be happy to help you with the preparations.

Here are some of the community fundraising events that CIWF supporters have organised:

• Sponsored swims, cycle rides, runs, silences, walks and even sky dives
• Stalls in town centres, markets, car-boot sales, fetes, festivals, jumble sales, leisure centres, bazaars, green fairs and farmers markets
• Coffee mornings, quizzes and ‘bring and buy’ raffles
• Collecting tins in shops
• Selling cakes, plants, chutney, mistletoe and books
• Garden and lunch parties and Christmas dances
• Collections at religious services
• Collections in schools, colleges and universities

Street Collections

Street collections are a fantastic way to meet other supporters, generate funds and raise awareness of the need for higher standards of farm animal welfare.

If you fancy getting involved, the following street collections are taking place in the coming months. Our dedicated organisers across the country would be delighted if you could spare an hour or two and lend a hand on any of these dates. Please call our Supporter Services Team on 01483 521 953 for more information about how to take part.
